That's right, YOU and anyone else who supports music is a music booster. Support comes in many forms, from attending a concert to working in a concession stand, to being an officer in the Music Booster organization.

Our music students represent our school and community through their dedicated hard work and performances. They learn time management skills, teamwork and commitment through the different music programs offered at Licking Valley. They give up many hours of their time during summer vacation, and throughout the school year, practicing and participating in competitions and concerts. This involvement positively impacts the students' drive, commitment, confidence and sense of self-worth. The mentorship provided by the parents who volunteer in the Music Boosters encourages a foundation of helping others as they progress toward adulthood.

Our Music Boosters provide funding support for LV music programs, including: updating and/or replacement of uniforms and equipment for the bands and choirs, entry fees and transportation to OMEA and BOA vocal and instrumental competitions, clinicians for marching band camp, and band and choir trips. 

Although raising money is our chief concern, the Music Booster organization also plays a huge role in supporting the students in other ways. From transportation to providing food, managing events to chaperoning trips, the parent group is invaluable to the success of our Licking Valley music program. If you haven’t already, please come to a Booster meeting and be part of this unique and fun environment.
